Sometimes you need to cut it off…

The branch!

I recently had the trees trimmed around my house and I knew I needed it done, but it wasn’t until afterwards did I realize how much we needed it.

Now we have better views out of windows and deck. We can see the front of the house from the street and brought the curb appeal up on our home increasing its resale value!

It was one of those things that I procrastinated on because the “pain” of tree trimming wasn’t that urgent. Now, I wish we would’ve done it YEARS ago!

What about for your business? During this time of hardship is where you’ll start to notice those branches that are in the way of your view. They are slowing your growth and you know if you cut them you’ll be stronger because of it.

What are the branches?

Could they be as obvious as “C” and “D” performers on your team? What about expensive expenditures like software or marketing or overhead that was “nice to have” but now it’s a bigger weight to carry?

John 15:2

“Every branch that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.”

What are some of the “Branches” that are blocking your view?
