Off the Wall

If you were to become famous for something, what would it be?
Someone would tape me falling and it would become a meme.
What was the least favorite gift you ever received?
I don’t think there have been any that I did not like. My grandma used to get us very tiny porcelain dolls that were a little creepy. Those creepy little dolls were still on display in my room thru high school though.
What could you talk about for 30 minutes with no preparation?
I would love to give an oral history of Survivor. I started rewatching during COVID and became obsessed. I want to talk about the best season and rank the winners.
What’s something you’re shamelessly proud of?
It is hard to narrow it- I think you should be proud of most things you do. Recently I took an ASL class to try something new and push myself to continue learning.
What is something you wish would come back in style?
Talking on the phone. I don’t really like texting- I would much rather have personal voice conversation.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
My mom always says that if something doesn’t happen then it wasn’t meant to be. It is hard to understand why things don’t work out at the time, but better opportunities will present themselves over time.
If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be?
“Push It” by Salt n Pepa. It is fun and upbeat, but most importantly I know the words.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
We watched a lot of CSI as a family, so I thought I could be a forensic scientist. Then I realized I did not want to deal with blood and guts every day.
